Daily Itinerary
Day 1 Paro - Thimphu ( Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner )

Upon arrival at Paro, you are welcomed with ceremonial reception and transferred to Thimhpu, the capital city of Bhutan. Enroute stop at the Three Stupa Convergence Point to appreciate the stupas of the three religions line alongside each other exactly on the focal point where Paro River and Thimphu River converge into one that flows out to the Indian River. Then check in a local hotel.

After lunch, visit 13 Art and Craft School and drive to visit Tashi Chho Dzong, the capital Dzong and the office of the King and the religious head “JeyKhenpo”. Evening scenic drive to Takin Reserve to catch a glimpse of the national animal - Takin. Enjoy free leisure time or wander around the local craft market, where you will find local authentic craft from all over Bhutan. Stay overnight at Thimphu.

Day 2 Thimphu - Punakha( Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner )

Drive to the rustic Punakha, the ancient capital of Bhutan, which is still used for official functions till today.  Stop for tea at the Dochula Pass while looking at the snow capped Eastern Himalayas. Hike for 45 minutes to get blessed by a giant Phallus at the Chime Lakhang Fertility Monastery, popularly known as “Devine Madman”.

Continue on to have a taste of Chili Cheese Casserole, a Bhutanese delicacy. Stay overnight at Meri Puensum Resort.

Day 3 Punakha - Thimphu( Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner )

Morning visit Punakha Dzong, known as the palace of great happiness or bliss, situated in between two rivers Pho Chu and Mo Chu (male and female rivers). Enjoy handicrafts shopping at the souvenir production center. 

Then drive back to Thimphu. On the way stop for tea at Dochula Pass. Evening visit traditional paper factory and textile weaving at Changzamtok

Day 4 Thimphu - Paro( Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner )

This day starts with a visit of the tallest Buddha in Thimphu and a leisure stroll of the newly opened Authentic Craft Market. Then set out to Para to vsit the Paro Rimpong Dzong, where Hollywood actor Keanu Reeves shot the movie “Little Buddha”. Take pictures while wearing their national costumes, the “Kira” and the “Gho”.

Then learn more about their culture and history at Paro Museum and walk around Paro Bazaar to have a look at the local custom. Later witness a wonderful Archery Match, the national sport of Bhutan.

Day 5 Excursion to Taksang Monastery( Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner )

Terk upon the mountains to visit Taksang Monastery, also called “Tiger’s Nest”, which is an iconic temple considered most holy in Bhutan. Enjoy a thrilling 1 hour tour through the mountain path by pony and another hour of hiking to reach this beautiful monastery. Once you reach the top, you will be impressed by the miraculous sacred monastery and an panoramic view of the extensive Paro Valley

In the afternoon drive back to Paro.

Day 6 Paro Departure

Say goodbye to Bhutan and board a flight for your next destination.
