Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is a large memorial in Hanoi located in the center of Ba Dinh Square. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum was constructed between 1973 and 1975, of native materials gathered from all over Vietnam. The roof and peristyle are said to evoke either a traditional communal house or a lotus flower, though to many tourist it looks like a concrete cubicle with columns. The whole place has a sanitized for your protection atmosphere.

The following rules are strictly applied to all visitors to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum:

1. People wearing shorts, tank tops etc. will not be permitted;
2. Nothing (including day packs and cameras) may be taken into the mausoleum;
3. A respectful behavior must be maintained at all times;
4. For obvious reason of decorum, photography is absolutely prohibited inside the mausoleum
5. It is forbidden to put your hands in your pockets;
6. Hats must be taken off inside the mausoleum building.
