China has more than 2,000 ports, 130 of which are open to foreign ships. The seven largest port terminals are Dalian, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Ningbo, Qingdao, Qinhuangdao, and Shanghai. Additionally, Hong Kong is a major international port serving as an important trade center for China.
