Health Care
Unlike in Thailand, the medical conditions of Cambodia are very poor. Not try to take any medical treatment in a local hospital if you can avoid it. Of course, you should buy comprehensive travel insurance (incl. Medical Insurance) before you go.
Shopping in Cambodia
There is excellent shopping to be had in Cambodia, particularly in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. As well as the inevitable range of souvenirs, there are many high-quality handicrafts made to support disadvantaged groups in Cambodia.

It is important to haggle over purchases made in local markets in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, otherwise the stallholder may rip you off.
ATMs
In most major cities including Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Sihanoukville, Battambang and Kompong Cham, there are now credit-card-compatible ATMs (most accept Visa card) and possible large withdrawals of up to USD2000. Also in all the top tourist centers, ATMs can be found. The ANZ Royal Banks, Canadia Banks and SBC Banks offer international access, 7-day, 24-hour ATMs in Cambodia, however it charges differently per transaction, ANZ requiring USD4 and Canadia for free. Most banks are run from 8am to 3pm or 4pm, Monday from Friday, and some are open Saturday mornings until 11:30am.
Travelers Checks are accepted at most banks, high-class hotels and restaurants and some money changers. And AMEX in USD are the most commonly accepted in travelers checks.
Money Chargers provide a slightly better conversion rate than the banks.
