Russian Market

Russian Market, locally called Toul Tom Poung Market, has become very popular amongst foreigners in Phnom Penh since 1980s. As at that time, most of buyers in Cambodia were came from Russia, hence the name as ‘Russian Market’. Russian Market is the best place in Phnom Penh for souvenir and clothes shopping. 

Russian Market has a large range of handicrafts and antiquities, including miniature Buddhas, woodcarvings, betel-nut boxes, silks, silver jewelry, and musical instruments, etc. Thousands of tourists visit the market every year. From the south part of the market, it is lined with stalls selling carvings, handicrafts, silks and fabrics, curios, CDs and cheap electronic goods. Definitely you will spend several hours here to purchase interesting things for your family and friends.

Russian Market is also the place where all the Western clothing makes in garment factories around Phnom Penh.
